About me ...

IMG-1835_edited.jpg

Since i was a child I remember myself wanting to see the world, and with a grateful heart i can say that i have been doing that for the past years.

I arrived in India in 2016, a place which i felt a deep connection with, something that at the time I couldn’t quite explain with words… the closest i could say then was a sense of belonging coming from the deep chambers of my soul.

Was in this magic land that i was introduced to yoga, a beautiful discipline that promotes an union in harmony between body, mind and soul.

I completed my studies in Rishikesh(a holy city called also the yoga capital of the world) and i am certified by the yoga alliance RYT.

This practice is a process of never ending learning, i am continuously studying and exploring different types of yoga, as well as the vast fields of philosophy and so on. I encourage myself to dive deeper and deeper and this is one of the things that i enjoy the most.

Yoga has the power to change your life, as it did with mine. Despite the fact that i always considered myself a positive person, i was haunted by anxieties and lack of energy in my body.

The practice has helped me cultivate directed attention, bringing awareness in the physical body which encourages me to tune in and exercise a deep conscious listening to my strongest points and to bring light to those areas where more care is needed, in this way i form a genuine contact with my own needs.

Is possible to quiet the restless mind, and on doing that i find clarity and acceptance so i can establish in the present moment where absolutely nothing is missing.

In this way old patterns are transformed, which gives the power of self control, confidence and the vitality to withstand and overcome the stresses and strains that are a part of life.

Yoga is for every body, every place and every age group. My honest intention as a teacher is to share the benefits of yoga with dedication and love.

Namaste.

The breath acts as an anchor as we move from one asana to the next, giving the feeling that the breath is moving your body.

It’s a slower paced practice where we hold the postures for longer periods of time, and there a space is created, to turn within into both your mind and the physical sensations in your body.

Learning the art of deep listening, tuning in to the internal, softer aspects of your nature.

Thus making it a more  contemplative and meditative practice.

Pranayama & Meditation

Are both integral parts of Yoga and go alongside with the practice of asanas.

The practice of pranayama involves the breath and certain breathing techniques. The aim is to balance and harmonize the vital energy or bioenergy (prana), which in turn affects the metabolism, functioning of the organs and glands, reproductive and digestive system and every cell in the body. By controlling the breath, the mind becomes calm & focused.

With a calm and focused mind, the practitioner moves into meditation, to cultivate a long-lasting state of peace, unconditional joy and love. Meditation serves as a doorway for experiencing one's own magnificent Self
